Baker’s Dozen, is the first event of the school year that brings new and returning community members together to bake and assemble homemade items for sale. As is tradition, items will be beautifully packaged and ready for pick-up after the amazing Thanksgiving Feast. In 2015, the Baker’s Dozen funds raised by our students and their families were used to support the World Music and Language Room. The 2016 Baker's Dozen has a goal of $10,000 and is raising funds to help build a new Green House that is being designed by our very own Middle School students. Some of this year's treats are perfect to bring to a holiday meal while others are ideal to buy in quantity to give as gifts to neighbors, friends, and business associates.
Whether you are able to bake, or assemble, or purchase (or all three!) we can't wait to see our entire community come together to support this event. Baker's Dozen is a favorite at The Studio School and we anticipate that in celebration of our 45th year, we will have the most successful sale yet!
We are happy to announce that we have hit our goal of raising $10,000 which will go towards the construction of our new greenhouse. It will be designed by our own middle school students and in addition to the obvious educational benefits, we expect the greenhouse to also support our amazing Kitchen Science program with a supply of fresh herbs and vegetables.
